Austin Addis All American Center’s Surviving Skills Champion
In 2000 Austin Addis was introduced to All American Center.
These are the things he accomplished to be self-sufficient.
He learned how to read.
He learned how to write.
He learned how to drive, when others thought he could not.
He learned how to present himself.
He learned how to speak openly and clearly.
He learned how to shop and make good monetary decisions.
He learned how to live by himself and be self-reliant.
He passed a college Small Business Management course at All American Center.
He passed the Virginia Unarmed Security Officer course.
All of this was accomplished in around 3 years what a feat.
There was no tuition for this course. He had to earn his admission on his own. No big donation, No buy in so to speak. He worked on his assignments all during his training every day, was eager and on time all the time, with the continued support of his father David, Austin Addis did what many others thought he could not.
Requirements were simple
To qualify to be in this course:
Be on time.
Be Honest
Be truthful.
Be considerate of others.
Lear all he could.
Austin did all these things with grace and consideration.
He aspired and wanted to go to Hollywood, and he finally did.
We used to call him Hollywood and he liked it!
Austin Addis was the first graduate of this course and stands out as an example of All American Centers ideas to hep others when others do nothing and other options are not available.
